After the lease contract is signed and payments are done, we will assist with your move-in inspection and take record of any existing damages so you are not held accountable upon move out and will also help arrange utilities (gas, water & electricity) so you will be set up to start your new life in Japan.

We will support you when communicating with the management company if any equipment or facility responsible by the owner breaks and needs to be repaired.

Move out

We will also support you with the required procedure to cancel your lease term when you plan to move out. This will include scheduling the move out inspection and cancelation of any utilities. We also make sure the deposit is safely returned to you after you move out and all the cleaning fees and any damages fees are deducted.

We, HouseRep Tokyo Inc., started as a real estate agency specialized in only the rental market of luxury properties for foreigner clients. I jumped into this real estate business field over 20 years ago by experiences which I was impressed with other people’s kind help during studied abroad and lived overseas as an expat. The real estate market in Japan back then, except only a few luxury rental properties designed and built especially for rich executive expats, there were a huge language barrier and prejudice against different culture. I often saw many landlords and tenants who were suffering from some serious troubles, occurred by lack of understanding and misunderstanding each other.

We, HouseRep Tokyo Inc., are to bridge the gap between foreigner clients, who are not still used to the Japanese’s culture or lifestyle, and property owners, who feel uneasy to communicate with foreigners. We try our best to take care of removing all kinds of concerns from both parties.
